Meeting in Brno

Dear all, below you will find the schedule and a map for our meeting in Brno, Czech Republic, from 20 until 24 November. Could you please pass your arrival times and any special needs about the accommodation to Zbynek at solc@askcr.cz.

Another thing is about the research. Please finish your tasks as soon as possible, as described in the mail Petra sent to you a week ago. Its important. If you have any questions, Petra and Matej are at disposal, but you need to ask. We are expecting your emails in the next days so we can finish the analysis until the meeting. Please keep in mind that this is essential for the success of our project.

First phase complete

We are happy to announce that the first phase of project Competitive Edge is nearing completion. Over the past few months, we have collected over 1100 survey responses and wrapped up a total of 20 interviews. We are really grateful to all who have been as kind as to take time to share their opinions and experience! Right now, we are analysing the information you have given us and will present it at the meeting in Brno, Czech Republic, from 20 until 23 November 2008. The meeting will strive to define guidelines for the development of the modules aimed at increasing the competitive edge of various youth organisations. The results of the meeting will also be published online shortly after the meeting.

The date for the first meeting has been set: 13-16 April in Győr, Hungary! We expect 4 people from each country to participate. 70% of the travel costs will naturally be reimbursed.

There are no special preparations expected for this meeting, however you should read the contents and the time line of the project. Don’t worry if there are some things left unclear - the meeting is for discussing about the project and what are the next steps. More information to follow soon!
